i mentioned a few times,that in terms of making my time for the past few months have been really difficult.simply because i cant teach something i don't fully believe...so my service has gone down,i used to comment a lot--haven't done that in a while----meeting attendance like normal but now i don't stay back after...or come early...or help with cleaning..... .

so some weeks ago the cobo asked me a completely irrelevant and in no way helpful question---"you did't think that i notice how upset you look these days----that's not a fruitage of god's spirit!".

yeah so today he saw me and asked me a series of question....all which i gave really short answers to...long story short--he says that he would like for me to meet wih the rest of the elders after memorial........ .

You do have the right to ask why they want to meet with you.

Just do it in a surprised “oh is something wrong” concerned manner.

If the elder asks why you want to know why say, “you know how I always want to help, but I’m really busy right now and am exhausted, so if someone else could step in just this one time you’d really appreciate it”.

I’ve used this one and, if done correctly, works extremely well because it shows your “deep concern, willingness and appreciation” while throwing the ball back it their court in a nice killing ‘em with Christian love way.

she says that she is "studying" to become a jw , so i guess that fits in with the report that her & venus are ubps , not baptised.. personally i prefer caroline woznaicki , but i don't doubt that there will be a quite a few jw guys that regard her as ace & might be tempted to play mixed doubles , court and have a love game with serena.

and with her 85 million usd wealth , i'm guessing that that part time janitor or window washing job might no longer be necessary..

i truly wonder if this move opens the door to the practical end of the "preaching work".

they could move everything to the internet, get rid of yearly statistics and pretend that things are growing.

BANNED words in the Education System (eye opening!)

new york (cbsnewyork) george carlin is rolling over in his grave.. the new york city department of education is waging a war on words of sorts, and is seeking to have words they deem upsetting removed from standardized tests.. marla diamond talks to walcott, student about banned words.

fearing that certain words and topics can make students feel unpleasant, officials are requesting 50 or so words be removed from city-issued tests.. the word dinosaur made the hit list because dinosaurs suggest evolution which creationists might not like, wcbs 880s marla diamond reported.

halloween is targeted because it suggests paganism; a birthday might not be happy to all because it isnt celebrated by jehovahs witnesses.. julie lewis family celebrates christmas and kwanzaa, but she told cbs 2s emily smith she wants her children to appreciate and learn about other holidays and celebrations.. theyre going to meet people from all walks of life and theyre going to have to learn to adjust, lewis said.. words that suggest wealth are excluded because they could make kids jealous.

thinking back to all those talks i heard about the sign of the last days, one thing that many used as proof of christ's presence was the dramatic changes, socially and politically, which all began in 1914. in the reasoning book, a few quotes are listed:.

in 2005-2009 the newspaper companies, magazines had to find more advertisers to stay afloat.

Who Lost The End of Mark's Gospel?

this is a question for those who still hold a supernatural view of the bible.. it would seem to be certain that the gospel of mark was the first to be written, and that matthew and luke copied large parts of mark when compiling their gospels.. from a theological perspective the most important event in the story - the heart of the gospel or "good news" is the resurrection of jesus.

it was this event and its implications that the disciples proclaimed.. the way that mark reports the resurrection is puzzling.

when the sabbath was over, mary magdalene, mary the mother of james, and salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint jesus body.

Stopped Dead Again.

as many of you are aware my brother who is an elder, shared with me another "shut this down moment" in a jc.

a brother who was to go before another body of elders told them that since they had contacted his former congregation they had lost their ecclesiastical privelege and that information they had is now subject to the data protection law including records etc.

when he was told he could not take notes he told the elders the same that they had to abide by the same non scriptural mandate.. apparently it was enough to shut the proceedings down until they called the "mother ship" for instructions.. they were told not to proceed with anything at this time until they got back to the elders.. my brother who hates jc totally said that more and more they are finding people quoting the law to them and the elders are backing off, not sure about the us where they can do anything they please but in the uk the dpa has really messed things up for the society.

I think anyone facing a JC should try to look into what the law says about the proceedings, privacy and records.

You can argue all day about theology and doctrine, but pulling the law card will definitely bring your JC to an immediate standstill.
